About The WSA

The Westlake Soccer Association (WSA) is operated by the Board of Trustees who meets monthly at the Westlake Rec. Center; please check the calendar on the home page for the next meeting. The Board is comprised of volunteer parents and friends of the youth of Westlake. The Board oversees the operation of the Westlake Travel Soccer Program and the Recreational Soccer Program.

The WSA is an independent, non-profit organization. The WSA was founded in 1979.  We are not affiliated in any way with any other group or organization within this city. The WSA is affiliated with Ohio Youth Soccer Association North (OYSAN) and US Youth Soccer (USYS). We are grateful for the use of the playing fields utilized during the course of the year. Fields are graciously donated by the Westlake Schools, St. John Medical Center, the City of Westlake and St. Paul’s Church.

None of the Board of Trustees are compensated for their time or involvement, nor are any of our coaches, team coordinators or field personnel without whom we could not function. Referees, Director of Coaching Travel, and the WSA Board Administrative Assistant however, are compensated for duties that they perform on behalf of the WSA.

Any comments or suggestions are welcomed. If you would like to become an active participant in the administration or coaching aspect of the WSA, please write us at: P.O. Box 45269, Westlake, OH 44145 or email to rec@westlakesoccer.org.
